Welcome to
The Link School Hong Kong
The Link School was established by a group of parents in 2020. The school aims to continue the tradition of staff and parents working collaboratively by forging strong links between the school and parents. The staff offers the pupils opportunities to link with the local community and links with other professionals is actively pursued. In keeping with the concept of parents and teachers working together for the benefit of the pupils our school motto is “Moving Forward Together”.
Our ultimate aim at the Link School is to provide a safe and supportive environment where our pupils can feel comfortable in their learning skills which will help them to integrate into society.
Inclusivity.
The Link School is an inclusive school where all our pupils' efforts are valued. The pupils look forward to coming to school to learn and meet up with their friends.
Empathy.
We are careful to be both supportive and at the same time present the lesson content in a way that challenges them and maintains their interest.
Achievement.
The staff fully subscribes to interacting in a positive manner with each pupil and we take time during the week to celebrate their achievements and promote their well-being.

Our Teaching Principles
Balancing challenges with courtesy
Balanced Curriculum
We have a responsibility to provide our pupils with a suitable curriculum. It is designed to provide opportunities for the pupils to become successful learners. We aim to ensure that all pupils participate as fully and as effectively as possible in all the learning experiences planned by the school.
Dedicated
Staff
The staff at the Link School have previously taught in a range of different school settings including kindergarten, primary and secondary schools and adult education centres. Each of them has an additional post graduate qualification in special education.
Future
Proofing
Our intention is to prepare our pupils for the challenges they may face as they grow older and later to help them better integrate into society.

Admission
Parental anxiety in finding a suitable place for their child can be greatly reduced if they can see what is required and the expectations are clearly stated.
The Admission Procedure is as follows:
-
We accept applications throughout the year.
-
Parents visit the school, meet the principal.
-
If parents wish to go forward with the application, they need to complete an application form.
-
Once the application form has been received if there is a place available it will be offered to the child.
-
If there isn’t a place available the applicant’s name is placed on a waitlist, parents are informed as soon as a vacancy occurs.
We operate a trial period in the beginning to allow us more time to observe and carry out assessments. After a few weeks a meeting is convened with the parents to discuss the next steps.
Our Principal's Message
We welcome pupils with learning difficulties
Our school was set up by a group of parents who were keen for their children to be taught in a small class setting and have every opportunity to grow and develop in a friendly, caring and supportive environment.
The staff aim to provide the pupils with a quality education which meets their special educational needs. This will help them to become more independent, communicate with others more effectively, make good progress in their academic, social and personal goals and enjoy attending school.
We frequently celebrate our pupils’ progress and promote equality and acceptance of others by encouraging them to be kind, considerate and aware of the strengths of the other pupils.
The relationship between the school and the parents is crucial if we are to be successful. The staff are committed to working closely with parents and we welcome their involvement in their child’s education.

School Principal
